After two years of disruptions hopefully 2022 will turn around, but in case it takes some time here is a little of just pretty.
Because 2021 was such a terrible year, I felt just pretty was needed to start this new one. Most images were chosen in honor of my mother whose birthday is Thursday. My mother loves beauty. She finds it in her garden, on her travels abroad, or simply at the local nursery or market. Here is a sampling of beauty from around the world.

Fortuny – Sevigne in prune blue and green.
My mother adores this Fortuny pictured above. Its colors are two of her favorites. She used to visit the Fortuny shop when in Venice to meet with the elegant woman who ran it. She purchased many meters of this particular pattern along with several others. Always my favorite fabric. It is the fairest of them all.
